Happyness is no good for Creativity

With the rash of Decidedly Useless Hypothesis Studies going on, we'll just call them "DUH studies" I feel like maybe this is the time to add one more: Why does happiness seem to decrease creativity?
It's far easier to see something in the everyday, get pissed off about it, and then write a scathing blog entry condemning the world for its ridiculousness. OuT of curiosity, is there a plural to ridiculousness?
I have nothing to lament about, save the cruel and heartless cancellation of Veronica Mars. Things are going extremely well. I'm employed, in love, and not in love with anyone whom I employ or am employed by. I make a decent living, and enjoy living off the water, on a cul-de-sac, in Manhattan. Really, I've nothing to complain about, and therefor have found myself engrossed in blog Meme's and being the very least creative as I can be. Go Army!
For this reason, I am embarking on a new project. I don't know what it is, but I am accepting suggestions. What do you do when your creativity is sinking to alarming levels?

Domestication causes complacency.

How about baking your wonderful boyfriend a pie?
In terms of suggestions, how about taking a class to improve your photography skills? You seem pretty good so far and are interested in it.
That or you can read some great comic books, or get an injection of MOMA soon.

I pick fights, but seem to have to market on that. I bake (but not pies for BooBoo) and gain weight and then complain that I'm fat and have no motivation to do anything about it.
Hm... maybe I shouldn't be giving advice on what to do to stir up creativity.

PS- Happyness is only spelled that way in movies. See? Correcting your spelling should put you in a tailspin and make you want to write. Right? ;)

mmmm pie. Don't worry booboo, if she won't bake you a pie, I will. I'm a damn good baker. :)
Robyn: we both seem to have picked up the fight-picking gene. I love picking fights when there's nothing better to do. Bad thing is J's no good at fights. If I say something he doesn't like he will just go and pout.

It's a talent. Doug just won't fight back, no matter how many buttons I push. What is up with our men?

Just try to enjoy the moment. The world will see to it that you're back to your usual cranky and complaining self in no time. Or maybe that's just me.
