The price is *NOT* right, Bob,

Ladies and Gents,

I'd like to present you with the first-ever, never before seen, blog rendition of The Price is Right.
Here are the rules:

1. Go to your local shopping mart and seek a bag of Diamond (of California), 8oz chopped pecans.
2. Take note of the price.
3. Come back here and write the state/locality in which you live, and whether or not you believe your nuts are more/ess expensive than the package I just bought.

And the answer is, yes, I am so absolutely aghast at the price of these friggen nuts it merits a study.

Here at the local "the Safeway", an 8oz package of chopped Diamond Pecans will run you $6.45 plus tax.

aHuhh huhuhh huhuhuh, nuts.

you bet your nuts.. those things were probably around 7-8$ Pecans expecially. I pay about 4$ for a 4-oz bag of whole ones, so i can only assume.

Well, I was in the nut section (shush, Scottie) last week and I think they were about $5.69, but don't quote me.

I know I still owe you cookies, but they won't have nuts in 'em. Girl cookies.

Oh- and if you NEED piiieeee, then you pay what you must.

After a brief survey of WNY Nutteries, they range from $6 and change to about $7.49, I believe.

Just ask anyone: whenever you want to eat nuts, there's always a price to pay.

On a related note, I always have almonds with me at work. You should hear the double entendre my female colleagues and I get into to make the students uncomfortable...

Don't let their teasing get to you, Reid. You're allman.

Just noticed that I didn't answer the question.

What is less, Alex?
